The benefits of animation course accreditation
Accredited courses bear the Creative Skillset Tick, a kite mark of quality for the industry, an indication of quality assurance of the very best in training and education. The institution is entitled to use the Creative Skillset Tick logo in connection with this course.
Creative Skillset promotes the courses bearing the Creative Skillset Tick to the creative media industries, potential students and key influencers as the best preparation for entering the animation industry.
As well as increased recognition as leaders in this field, successful institutions will also benefit from support services co-ordinated by Creative Skillset which will include:
- tutorials and masterclasses for course leaders;
- visiting lectures for students;
- work placements for students;
- work placements for tutors;
- tours of animation studios for course leaders;
- mentor support for students;
- provision of resources for courses (industry storyboards, budget sheets, briefs etc.)
- industry-attended showcases for graduate work.
The course accreditation is valid for three years initially.
