Creative Skillset Approval
Working with industry, Creative Skillset approves institutions that provide industry-relevant education and training.
To become an approved institution they must:
- Meet a set of high quality standards
- Always be striving to improve
Industry representatives form the assessment teams and evaluate the institution against criteria such as strategy, premises, staff, finance and communications.
A panel of well respected industry practitioners then makes the final decisions regarding approval. So far, Creative Skillset has awarded approval to organisations in the following fields:
- 23 Creative Skillset Media Academies that work with industry in developing the new wave of media talent; and
- The Creative Skillset Film Academies that offer practice-based education directly relevant to the film industry.
